What is Royal Alpaca?

Royal Alpaca is the most premium and finest quality of alpaca fiber. Only about 1–2% of the world's alpaca wool meets the criteria to be classified as "Royal".

Fiber fineness: less than 19 microns (for comparison: human hair is approx. 50–100 microns)

Exceptionally soft: feels almost like cashmere, but is more durable

Lightweight & warm: Royal Alpaca is extremely lightweight, offers excellent insulation, and regulates temperature – keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer

Hypoallergenic: unlike sheep's wool, it contains hardly any lanolin, making it suitable for sensitive skin

Durable: due to its high quality, Royal Alpaca retains its shape and beauty even with frequent use
